Meet Emily

In our lives, we often experience challenges. Life can be filled with peaks and valleys. These experiences may affect us emotionally, behaviorally, or environmentally. In these times, we may not always know how or have the tools to manage how we react. As a licensed therapist, I am here to provide the safe and brave space to uncover how we can tackle these difficulties together. My goal is to help my clients gain insight so that they can better identify, utilize, and build upon the internal resources that they already possess. Together, we build skills in order to promote overall wellness through various of therapeutic approaches.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I enjoy building a strong foundation of rapport with each of my clients so that there is a feeling of trust, mutual respect, and a safe space to be vulnerable and open. Throughout the therapeutic process, we will work together to identify needs, strengths, and areas of growth.

I understand starting therapy can seem intimidating. Know that by utilizing both Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered therapy, we will work collaboratively in identifying ways of reaching your goals and tackling the challenges you are facing. We will do this by building upon and utilizing your strengths. I am looking forward to being on your team.

“Everybody wants to reach the peak, but there is no growth on the top of a mountain. It is in the the valley that we slosh through the lush grass and the rich soil, learning and becoming what enables us to summit life’s next peak.”
