Supervision

Emily Vasseur, LCPC provides clinical supervision to Licensed Graduate Professional Counselors (LGPC).

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. The board is located at 4201 Patterson Avenue #5, Baltimore, MD 21215, (410) 764-4732. I am also a National Certified Counselor. I have a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University (2019; CACREP-accredited) and both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Elementary Education from University of New England (2017).

I have over five years of clinical experience providing both individual, family, and group counseling to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults for a range of treatment issues including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, issues with adjustment, and familial conflict. I hold active memberships with the American Counseling Association, Maryland Counseling Association, and National Board of Certified Counselors.

Throughout the supervision process, I want you to feel empowered to bring up questions, concerns, or thoughts regarding your cases and/or the supervisory relationship. I want to ensure that the supervision process is effective and supportive. As the supervisee, you have the right to ask questions regarding the supervisor’s qualification, background, and the present supervision therapeutic orientation.
