Let’s meet you where you’re at…

Asking for help can be scary and it can cause you to feel alone and scared. Mountain View Wellness and Consulting was developed for people feeling just like you…ready to admit that you may need a little help in the struggles of life. We often do.

Emily is a native of Vermont. She grew up wanting to make a difference and support those needing a space filled with support and kindness. She moved to Maryland to pursue a degree in Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University. There, she was able to do internships with adults, teens, children, and families from a multitude of backgrounds experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. After graduating, she knew that Maryland was the best place to start her career.

Since graduating, Emily has held roles as a lead therapist, Assistant Program Director, and Associate Clinical Director. These roles led her to work in incredibly diverse environments that inspired the desire for her to begin her own practice using compassion, leadership, and intention.

The business is lovingly named after her roots in the mountainous regions of Vermont where sometimes the hills were steep, seemingly impossible to climb, but completely attainable with the right support.
